Few brands have made their marks on the automation industry like Schneider Electric.

Amongst the many industry terms, Modicon has long been synonimous with the phrase “Automation Innovation”. It was the Modicon name that brought the industry the worlds first programmable controller almost four decades ago. Since that time 584, 984 & marks like the Quantumn and Nano plc have dominated the factory control landscape.

During the ninetees the marketplace saw the coming together of three very big brands: The Schneider, Telemechanique or TE mark from France and the Modicon, or what used to Gould Modicon automation platforms from the United States, complimented by the AEG identity from Germany. All this industry expertese and automation knowledge culminated in a controls company that continues to set standards in the manufacturing field, globally.
