Motivational speaking is just one of the recent additions to the expanding TSL enterprise training portfolio.
It joins a number of personal development elements within TSL’s growing list of training options. Motivational speaking is seen as a key piece of the jigsaw for enterprise training and personal development in the work place. “We have noticed a marked increase in requests for motivational speakers over the past few months, hence this new service for our clients,” commented Simon Cassar, General Manager of TSL Training.
TSL’s wider focus is to cover customer service, health & safety, human resources and a wide range of disciplines in its bid to become a one-stop shop for training to a wide range of British businesses.
SCADA gets broader

TSL has expanded its SCADA training portfolio, in acknowledgement of the wider applications for Supervisory, Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
SCADA systems typically control whole industrial sites or complexes, and their supporting systems, and with wider use of the internet for connectivity, are being adopted by more mechanical and electrical engineers and technicians, for ever broader business roles.
TSL already offers an impressive line-up of training courses on SCADA platforms, including Wonderware (In-touch), Winn CC from Siemens, RSView from Rockwell Automation and the iFix platform.
What are your training needs?

Your staff arrive with all sorts of backgrounds and experience, and with varying degrees of expertise in different areas. So it can often be difficult to know who is best suited to the tasks their role requires them to complete. And, at the same time, training budgets are under pressure – so there’s no point in wasting funds on unnecessary courses.
That’s where TSL’s Training Needs Analysis (TNA) service comes into play. This free, impartial service will review your team’s current competences, and identify those areas and personnel in your business where training is needed, or learning and development plans are required. The TSL consultant will research competences across a pre-agreed range of skills, from basic computer skills through customer service to higher level software and processes.
Armed with this information, your own team can identify those courses and staff most beneficial to improve overall competences and performance. TSL’s report ensures line managers can then target their training spend to deliver the most cost-effective results possible, in the shortest timescale.

The venue ensures that those attending training courses can concentrate on content and maximise their learning, without the distractions often evident if undertaking training on their own premises.
The new, state of the art training venue underlines TSL’s commitment to growing its training portfolio, and features four dedicated classrooms and a conference facility that can accommodate up to 25 people. The venue is also available for hire for private conferences and corporate events.
